Workflow ROI

Know which HubSpot workflows are worth keeping.

Quarterdeck reads every workflow definition, flags the ones that overlap, never fire or have gone untouched, and scores outcome yield when you provide enrollment and outcome data.

Questions it answers

  • Which enabled workflows have not changed in a long time?
  • Which workflows have near-identical criteria and actions, and may be redundant?
  • Which workflows convert enrollments into the outcome we care about?
  • Which workflows have no recorded outcome data at all, so nothing can be said about them?

What is measured, imported, estimated, and unavailable

The same four labels appear in the product next to every figure.

Measured

Workflow count, enabled state, type, object, last-updated age, and similarity between definitions (not measured enrollment overlap).

Imported

Enrollment and outcome counts from a CSV you upload. The efficiency index needs at least 30 enrollments and is shown only then.

Unavailable

Per-workflow enrollment, revenue and outcomes from HubSpot directly. HubSpot exposes no such API, so we never state what a workflow earned.

How it works

Sync definitions

We list flows and fetch details only when a workflow's revision changes.

Detect structure issues

Similarity and staleness are computed with fixed rules.

Add outcomes

Import enrollments and outcomes by CSV to unlock the efficiency index.

What you need

Access and tiers

  • HubSpot automation scope (optional). It has no read-only variant; Quarterdeck only sends read requests.
  • Workflow API access on your HubSpot tier.

Limits we state plainly

  • No official per-workflow revenue exists in HubSpot.
  • The efficiency index compares outcome yield; it is not dollars generated.
